Someone’s Rainbow

“Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”
~Maya Angelou in Letter to My Daughter

Rainbows are such a beautiful phenomena that please even the hardest of people. When a rainbow is used in a quote, poem, literature or a saying they are used as a metaphor for hope and happiness. ~D. Sharon Pruitt

We all have days when nothing but gray clouds can be seen for miles. Days where we hang our heads low and beat ourselves up inside. I’m sure you’ve known the feeling at some point or another. Those are the days when we need someone to be our rainbow. Someone to be a burst of light into a cold and dreary day. When we catch a glimpse of the beautiful colors that shine forth, we are lifted above our circumstances. Rainbows are a symbol of hope. Be a Hope Messenger, be someone’s rainbow.
